I was commissioned by the Association of Sculptors (http://sculptorsvictoria.asn.au/) to photograph an exhibition of Sculpture at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show at Carlton Gardens.
Starting on a wintery Melbourne morning at 7:00am I met the very helpful Jenny Rickards from the Association of Sculptors to photograph 89 sculptures in an outdoor exhibition, wrapping up at close to 5:00pm.
I chose a low camera perspective and wide aperture to avoid the myriad obstacles of tents, fences, signs and men wandering in the background in fluoro safety vests!
The major prize was awarded to Jenny Whiteside for her work "Amber".
